Veloverden

Veloverden is a platform for people who feel dedicated to the idea of travelling on bicycles or on foot. We object all-inc holidays and promote an individual way of travelling that contributes the international understanding. This idea includes interaction with locals, enviromentally friendly travelling and support of local infrastructure. We stand in for creative ways of mobility like cycling, using public transport or simply walking on your own feet.

This website is meant to be a small travelling archive. You can find reports and galleries from cycling, hiking or backpacking tours to get new ideas and visions on how great travelling can be. Check it out and get inspired.

TRAVEL PROJECTS

The map shows some of the travel routes of the Veloverden project. The orange lines indicate the routes of the Himalaya crossing from Tibet to India in 2005 and the Southern African backpacking trip in 2007. The blue line shows the approximate route of a future project: a cycling tour from Europe to China following the Silk Road .
